COVID guidelines for employees office commute:
COVID19 guidelines laid down by the company in accordance with Government norms.
Driver Hygiene Guidelines
- Driver should be clean (Uniforms, Shaving, Regular Bathing and Daily dress changing)
- Temperature checks prior to start of each trip in the Company.
- Wear good quality masks and gloves all the time
- Maintain social distancing – during the trip and other times
- No handshaking or physical contact with travellers and other drivers at parking area.
- Frequent washing of hands during meal times and anything touch
- If having symptoms of Fever, cough, breathlessness, sneezing, sore throat, etc. – should be taken off duty
- Take medical advise and do self-quarantine for 14 days, if necessary
- In case of any situation of contact with COVID-19 patients. Report to state authorities for tests and contact tracing and follow protocol
- Avoid visiting Hotspots, containment zones and other prohibited places in the city and other places
- Do not change your route without prior intimation and approval from the transport manager
- Physical Signature of employees on trip sheets to be avoided , if at all required n absence of e-trip sheets employees need to carry their own pens and wear gloves too and avoiding the mobiles to be shared for the authentication/OTP with employees
- If any of the Employees, drivers/guards found or suspected by Co-passengers travelling along with any symptoms of flu to be reported back to Transport team to take further action immediately.
- Each cab will have sanitizer handy.
Vehicle Sanitization
- All vehicles should be completely sanitized with disinfectant – prior to start of each day’s trip
- All contact points inside and outside the vehicle – example door handles, window panes, steering, gear, control panels, seats – etc. should be sanitized prior and after each trip
- Hand sanitizer should be made available inside the vehicle at all times. Employees should be instructed to sanitize prior to boarding the vehicle.
- No employee should be allowed to board vehicles without masks and should be requested to wear it throughout the trip.
- Each cab will have sanitizer handy.
Transport Supervisors
- All ground staff and supervisors should compulsorily wear masks and gloves all the time
- Follow safety precaution similar to drivers
- Conduct temperature, health check on all drivers daily and report
- Ensure vehicle sanitization, provide disinfectant and sanitizers to the vehicles
- Ensure that all government laid down guidelines for transport vehicles are followed
- Monitor boarding of vehicles during return trips and ensure social distancing.
- Ensure vehicle in good condition & arrange for alternate vehicles, in case of breakdown or non-availability of vehicles & drivers
- Do not change your route without prior intimation and approval from the transport management
Employees Availing Office Transport
- Wear masks all the time during the drive
- Sanitize before boarding the vehicle and while getting down
- Maintain social distancing while boarding and de-boarding. Keep minimum 2m distance
- Sit only on the marked seats – and leave those earmarked to be left vacant to maintain social distance
- Do not insist on AC – since that is not advisable during these times.
- Do not change your route without prior intimation and approval from the transport management
Guidelines to use the MASK
- Before wearing a mask, wash your hands with an alcohol-based disinfectant or with soap and water.
- Cover your mouth and nose with the mask and make sure the mask is firmly pressed against your face.
- Do not touch the mask while you are wearing it; if you do, wash your hands with an alcohol-based disinfectant or with soap and water afterward.
- Replace the mask as soon as it gets wet and do not reuse disposable masks.
Remove the mask from behind (do not touch its front side); throw it away in a closed container and then wash your hands with an alcohol-based disinfectant or with soap and water
Over All
- Routes will avoid areas barred by the local authorities – example – Red Zones/Containment Zones/etc.
- No AC in vehicles until further advisory from Government
- Max capacity in a TT = 6 , Xylo 3 to 4, Sedan 1 or 2 and Buses is 50% occupancy.
- Boarding:
- Stand in line maintaining social distancing
- Wait until the prior passenger is seated before entering the vehicle
- De-boarding:
- If more than one person get down in same stop, the one in the front seats de-boards first
